Since nobody cares about real communication (old dear friends don't answer the third email), the big, wonderful last decades telecommunications progress has been useful mostly just as a marketing tool.  In a society built by individuals whose only selection criteria is to imitate the neighbor, telecommunications ubiquity has tied us each other, tighter as it continues growing, to the point to pick the color is the only choice left.

People usually say there's a remedy for everything except death.  As, by experience and taking in care what history tells, you become aware that what really doesn't have a cure is men idiocy, and how day after day the exponential growing of telecommunications forces you more and more to follow the rest towards the slaughterhouse, you start to see death with other eyes, even to consider it the remedy.
